Content uniformity testing – on point

Sample in answer out – This is how accroma improves your content uniformity testing

Varying sample weights and deviations in dosing and pipetting always lead to fluctuations in the final sample concentration.

We have tackled this problem and developed the dilution method.

dilution method

This is how it works:

The Dilution step is used as last solvent addition to reach a target sample mass concentration.

The advantage of this method is that the sample weight, the active weight and the previously
dispensed and pipetted amounts for the solvent addition are included.

By including the sample weight and the content of the sample (active weight),
it is possible to calculate how much active is in the current solution and therefore how much
active was pipetted. These calculations are performed gravimetrically (mg/g).
This ensures that the target concentration is achieved even if the sample weight may vary or if there are deviations during dispensing and pipetting.

The following is an example between the previous procedure and the new procedure with dilution

Preparing a Sample (Paracetamol 500mg) with target Sample concentration of 2.5mg/ml
